Every equipment owner needs a program to maximise the investment they make in their equipment through efficiency and equipment life plus acquiring the most affordable possible ongoing costs. This is where FluidMasters have the products and services to assist you accomplish this goal.
FluidMasters have engaged global commercial chemists to establish their products. Through extensive lab testing they have formulated fluid management products that are a huge improvement on existing competitive products in the market place.
In February 1988 these products were presented to farmers and after attaining outstanding outcomes the company expanded its offerings to other market groups that include marine and transport. As time has passed and innovation improved, continuous research has seen these products fine-tuned and improved to where they are thought about by the company to be of the highest efficiency that present science has the ability to produce.
There are four areas to be looked after and handled. All of these areas need to be addressed as recommended in all manufacturer’s equipment handbooks/manuals.
Air System.
Fuel System.
Cooling System.
Oil System.
Services and products.
Oil- Selecting the right viscocity.
The most crucial element of using the right oil for your equipment is to pick the right oil viscosity. The directions for picking the right oil for your machinery and equipment are detailed in your producer’s handbook/manual.
Our Oil System maintenance products include:.
8-30 Multifunctional Oil Supplement – Increases efficiency life of older gas and diesel motor (Pre CJ4 oils), gear trains, gear boxes, final drive engine oils, differentials, reduces wear and rust, neutralises acids, prevents oxidation of oil, extends oil drain periods. KEEP IN MIND: To be utilized in conjunction with engine oils before CJ4 standard ONLY.
Oil Flushing Concentrate – Specifically formulated mix of penetrates, lubricants and sludge dispersants designed for use in all gas and diesel engines, gear trains, gear boxes, final drive differentials.
In addition we recommend and sell:.

The best oils and lubricants with the best purification systems means the best possible security for your equipment.
Coolant and your engine.
The cooling system of any automobile is without a doubt the most crucial part of the whole machine. It is a truth that between 60 and 80% of engine and transmission failures are caused by cooling system “breakdowns”. This has been a massive cost to equipment owners and $1.5 billion dollars annually is attributed to this failure throughout Australia.
This is a massive amount of money thinking about the truth that it could be minimized dramatically (most likely by 75%) by the installation of the right cooling system products.
FluidMasters continuous commitment is to offer the absolute best cooling system products that can be produced. The products FluidMasters market were developed by the School of Chemical Engineering at the Western Australian Institute of Technology (Curtin University) in the early 1980’s by Dr Richie and his team developed a protectorate in addition to a flushing product.
FluidMasters have been marketing these products to their client base since 1982 and in that time the two most common and most destructive problems facing the operator as far as the cooling system is concerned are “Cavitation Erosion” (Pit holes that drill through the cylinder liners) and “Electrolysis” (the destruction of alloys, i.e. cylinder heads etc). These 2 major problems have become a thing of the past for our clients with not one instance being recorded in over 26 years.
The design of cooling systems today is as it was in Henry Ford’s time, with very little modifications. Water, a radiator and radiator hoses, fan belts, a radiator cap, and a water pump.
In engines today it is important to protect complicated alloy heads and multi valve systems. An alloy head goes through “electrolysis”, the disintegrating of alloy by electrical action of the engine. It is as though the engine is one huge “battery”. An alloy head can cost anywhere from $1000.00 to $6000.00.
Frightening thought but a reality, and still they go unguarded as owners take the guidance of the repairer or the garage owner who sells them the inaccurate or insufficient product for their equipment’s cooling systems. Remember, the merchant generally has little knowledge of the products he is selling.
So, why is it that FluidMasters can advise you on the right products for this defense? Due to the fact that, we manufacture our products to perform as needed by the manufacturer. Sadly though, MANY of OF the OEM engines cooling system protection just DO NOT WORK, or fail before the stated time of protection is reached.
Diesel Engine makers have increased engine operating temperature levels to improve engine effectiveness. This means proper cooling system maintenance is particularly crucial. Overheating, overcooling, pitting, cavitation, disintegration, cracked heads, piston seizures, and plugged radiators are classic cooling system failures.
Correct coolant selection and maintenance of the system is the owner’s choice and the right coolant is vital to successful engine life span. In fact, coolant is just as crucial as the quality of your fuel or lubricating oil.
FluidMasters provides cooling system preventative maintenance products and services to assist you prevent the down-time & expensive effects of coolant-related engine/ transmission failures.
Gen XI Fuel Stabiliser and your engine.
Only distillate fuels that meet needed requirements will lead to optimum engine efficiency and durability. All equipment and equipment operators need tidy safe fuel if their equipment is to give optimal efficiency.
Fuel properties and quality have a huge impact on engine operation. Contamination generally is presented during fuel handling, that is, transfer from the refinery to its final storage destination might mean many fuel transfers and for that reason more chances of contamination.
Fuel quality can significantly affect the efficiency and maintenance of any diesel or gas engine. Water can cause excessive sludge and also cause fuel pump damage in those fuel systems which use fuel oil to lubricate the pump.
Seawater is the greatest single source of fouling deposits and rust, particularly in high temperature areas of marine engines. Seawater can cause fuel injector and piston ring groove deposits and wear in fuel system plunger and barrel assemblies.
Gen XI gets rid of water from fuel, fuel tanks, fuel lines and retards fungal growth. The presence of water from condensation, seal leak, etc can accelerate the deterioration of the fuel, particularly if high sulphur levels exist. In diesel, water allows microbe growth (eg: Hormoconis resinae and Cladisporium resinae). These “diesel bugs” feed on the fuel and propagate in the water and this causes fuel deterioration and filter/injector clogs.
Gen XI actually rids the system of water by encapsulating the water which in turn is concentrated into small microscopic droplets through the special chemicals in Gen XI. These droplets are then held in suspension within the fuel, carried through the engines filter system and fuel pump where it is exhausted to the atmosphere as oxygen and hydrogen gasses. Also, any sulphur products are also encapsulated thus avoiding sulphurous acid damage to engine component parts. By neutralising the sulphur content of fuel, Gen XI Fuel Stabiliser will conquer fuel problems and accomplish better burn, amount to combustion, less emissions and higher efficiency.
The product also consists of detergent dispersant aspects to not only tidy but entirely disperse with an arrangement of fluid suspension aspects.
Fuel consisting of Gen XI Fuel Stabiliser will remain high quality, right viscosity, sulphur controlled and safe storage for extended periods. FluidMasters have facilities such as banks and Hospitals with distillate in their emergency generators that have been in these units for over twenty years. This also gives the operator an opportunity to store fuel for extended periods and for that reason “hedge” against rising fuel costs. For long storage of fuel, we recommend that the Gen XI product be utilized at a mix rate of 30% more than recommended for regular use.
Beautiful fuel is crucial for the wellness of your equipment. Western Australian-made Microlube fuel filters offer 100% effectiveness at 1-micron score. That’s as near to perfect as you are going to get. Bowser or fuel-tank fitting is regular with flow rates of 100 or 150 litres per minute being standard. Containing a washable filter, they are very efficient and affordable.
Microlube Filters.
Microlube Filters (distributed by FluidMasters) are a variety of affordable, low-micron filters for the optimum elimination of suspended particles and general contaminates in commercial fluids and fuel. When utilized as a primary filter on a diesel installation it ensures optimum fuel condition and frequently gets rid of expensive secondary filter clog.
Microlube’s ingenious fuel purification systems are finding increasing acceptance among mining and earthmoving contractors, transport & oilfield operators, farmers and marine equipment owners.
Prevent damage to fuel pumps and injectors from small particles.
Microlube has developed a variety of quality filter-systems which are designed to remove fungal particles, suspended particles, drop-out in diesel fuels and other particles such as sand, dust, sludge and excess water. The filters remove contaminants as small as one micron, utilizing polyester needle-felt filter socks. Polyester needle felt is the most common material utilized for these bags and is offered in micron rankings of 1, 5, 100 and 150.
Microlube Technical Specifications.
Filtered contaminants are contained in the filter sock and eliminate the chance of contamination, common with cartridge-type filters, which leave contaminants in the filter housing.
How to pick a Microlube filter.
1. Select the unit size based upon the flow rate adjusted for the viscosity of the fluid to be filtered.
2. Select the micron score of the bag to be fitted.
3. Select Port Position.
4. Select the design # – eg filter 100L/min of diesel down to 1 micron with basic port, choose model MFH 100.
Air Systems.
FluidMasters do not have specific products for a machines air system, as there are no fluids involved, but it is crucial to note that: Diesel and gas engines absorb literally hundreds of square meters of air to every litre of fuel burnt.
Clean air filters lead to a more efficiently operating engine, leading to less influence on the environment. Lower costs are also the outcome of an effective air system, not to mention less downtime and loss of profits.
